31 Jan 2007 - Mark First School - Healthy School Status

We are proud to announce that Mark First School has just been awarded the "Healthy school Status" in recognition of how "healthy" our school is.

Factors that are taken into consideration include the amount of PE the children receive in school, the provision of after school clubs, Wake and Shake, the sale of fruit at playtime, the running of Health Week and the Healthy Share course, the setting up of a School Council and the provision of Family Learning Courses. Many thanks go to Fiona Robertson for the time and effort she put in to compiling this successful application.
